About Me
I am Nicholas Faist, a senior at Forsyth Central High School and part of the Biotechnology pathway of the STEM Academy as well as an Honors Mentorship Student. Since August I have been interning at Northside Forsyth, rotating throughout the hospital experiencing different parts of the healthcare process. From labs to therapy to the diagnosis of the patient, I have seen pieces of the entire process which I plan to utilize to aid me in my future plans. In the fall I will be attending Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering in their pre-med pathway as well as minors in math, chemistry and history, all in the pursuit of getting into med school. From my time in Honors Mentorship and at Northside I have been able to see the entire process of healthcare and treatment which has only further solidified my goal of becoming a pediatric primary care provider.
